Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the position of ACCOUNTANT.
Main Duties
- Preparing accounts and tax returns – Vat Returns – Annual Returns – QPDs- PAYE Returns- PAYE Payments – NSSA etc.
- Controlling income and expenditure for the business entities
- Auditing financial information
- Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements
- Managing the implementation of Accounting Information Systems and the control environment
- Analyzing accounts and business plans
- Preparing management and cost accounts
- Pricing and margin setting for products and services
- Providing tax planning services in line with current legislation
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Dealing and deal making, negotiating the terms of business deals
- Meeting and interviewing clients on certain business projects to assess financial impact
- Managing all assets of the business
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA/ACCA/CIS an added advantage
- Over 3 years’ experience in an accounting role
