Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients – a manufacturing company to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the position of WAREHOUSE CLERK.
MAIN DUTIES
- Handles the company’s incoming and outgoing merchandise, and to manage the company’s stock.
- Checks that orders are complete and not damaged.
- Receives products and checks that they are not damaged.
- Return any damaged products.
- Record all received items in the computer system.
- Pack items in a methodical way.
- Clean the warehouse.
- Prepares reports about shipments and inventory levels.
- Label the goods.
- Maintains the storage area and replenishes work supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.
- A degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ related working experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery.
- Computer literacy.
- Relative physical strength and stamina.
