Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients – a manufacturing company to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the position of SALES MANAGER.
MAIN DUTIES
- Achieves growth and hits sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Designs and implements a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence.
- Owns recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Presents sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identifies emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Directs and coordinates all sales activities locally and regionally.
- Prepares sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.
- Tracks and analyzes sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
- Handles and resolves customer complaints regarding a product or service.
- Sets discount rates and determines price schedules.
- Advises distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years’ working experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
